Staff Sgt. Ben Smith of Johnstown's West End had lots of help as he packed up his gear and headed for home after being welcomed back from duty in Afghanistan with 1st Battalion, 104th Attack Reconnaissance Regiment, Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
